Last few Weeks

Category: Ponderings            Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 5:12 pm

The last few weeks are a bit foggy.  Addison is getting 3 teeth at once with a possible 3 more close behind, so our nights have been less than restful.  I do remember a beer making adventure this past weekend; see here (pword = addison) for scant photography of the event and lots of images of Addison playing.

Smart Baby

Category: Ponderings            Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 9:36 am

Newest images on shutterfly.  Also, a very neat video here.  Our smart baby decided to pick up a placemat and start playing peek-a-boo with us, although we have never done this with her (use a placemat that is, we do play peek-a-boo).  By the time we realized we should videotape her she was tiring a bit, but you still get the idea.  She also started pulling up on things yesterday.

Busy weeks

Category: Ponderings            Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 5:20 pm

New pictures of Addie are up on shutterfly.  We’ve had an adventurous few weeks:  Addie has started eating foods besides rice cereal (pears, squash, sweet potatoes, apple sauce and apple juice to date); Addie cut her first tooth - which is now fully through the gum, but is still a tiny bump, felt more then it’s seen; we all went to the Portsmouth Halloween Parade - Addie was a lobster, we were ourselves; we went hiking on Mt. Agamenticus (a small mountain/large hill in York Maine); I had my four month work review, got a raise, and was offered a full-time position to start around May or June.  Enjoy the picture show.

VOTE

Category: Ponderings            Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 1:22 pm

Do your civic duty; today is the day.  Remember if you don’t vote you don’t get to complain about taxes, school systems, potholes, growth and development, and so much more for the entire next year.
