At our apartment building, UPS packages are usually left at the bottom of the stairs.. It's out of the rain, but a great place for any passer-by to swipe stuff. Fex-Ex people are the worst though, they knock, but they don't wait long enough for you to actually answer the door, by the time you get their, they're in their truck and gone.
