		<description>I agree with teach kids to critically judge sources.  This is an invaluable skill because everyone has an agenda and this is evident in almost all writing and news.  But I think one big problem with teaching critical thinking is that it is a small step from questioning the ideas/values in a book to questioning the ideas/values of the teacher.  Some teachers are frighten of loosing their authority over the students and so teach as if they know all the truths.

Like I said before I think that equal but different sounds too much like separate but equal, which was just a catch phrase used to justify discrimination.  I'm pretty sure there is not an easy solution to this.  I think companies need to be much more understanding that employees have lives and needs outside of work, and try to accommodate those needs.

Oh, and I added the ability for people to get e-mails when comments are added (like nikki's blog).</description>
