 Play time.

Now here is a game I can really get into.  Now if I can only get past the first level…

Don’t Shoot the Puppy.

 Franco = savior?

July 10, 2006 at 9:12 am  |  games, politics

Now I am no Spanish History scholar but I had always thought of Franco as a true Fascist.  Powerful, capricious, selfish, racist, and bloodthirsty.  Apparently the prime minister of Poland doesn’t think so.

Thanks to the Spanish army and Franco the communist attack on Catholic Spain was thwarted. The presence of such people in European politics as Franco guaranteed the maintenance of traditional values in Europe and we lack such statesmen today. Christian Europe is losing against atheistic socialists today and this has to change. [Article]

Um.  Didn’t Franco crucify nuns?  (Speaking of crucified nuns, has anyone seen this movie?)  Why do people equate Socialism with the destruction of the church?  Stupid Marx and his opiate statement.  Not that he was wrong, but as the founding father said, there should be separation of church and state.  The state should not dictate what gods should be worshipped and religion should not dictate what form of government should be had.  Besides what’s wrong with the atheistic socialists winning.  The only reason they didn’t win 100 years ago was because people like Franco, Hilter and Wilson killed or jailed them.  And don’t give me any flack about group Wilson with those other two, he is the one who segregated our country.
I am by no means an XBOX fanboy, (the things a beast… whatever happened to elegent design?  Oh, yeah.  It’s here and here.) but I have to say that the screens for the NHL 07 game coming out for the 360 are “pretty”.  I know that companies pump up the resolution and textures to take screenshoots but the short movie [here] shows the stick flexing and the goalie’s glove closing on the puck.  That’s new and neat.  I wonder if there will be a port to the wii, with lower graphics, of course, but similar physics.  Nevermind.

 Interview-tastic

May 12, 2006 at 7:09 pm  |  work, games, rant

Damn you Al! Just in case you were wondering why I did not go out to lunch with you today (that is Friday) I was at an interview. I think it went pretty well though I think I bombed the typing skill section. My fingers moved like molasses… but all in all I think it went pretty well. The guy I interviewed with seems like my type of person; he was twitching his leg so much the whole table was shaking. Ha! This is the same place that had this on their job application website and the place seems pretty chill. The benefits seem pretty good but I do not think the pay will be that great. One must wait and see. Now I am applying for some new jobs instead of going to work. I just can’t bring myself to go, so the weekend starts right now.

The following are things you might find neat:

Apparently I am a Nintendo fanboy.

For those who like board games

You might be interested in the new game, “Patriot Act: The Home Version“! It’s fun for the whole family.

This is not the time for a long post but I thought I’d give you guys something to know that I am still alive. Also, I am glad to see Nad is still alive and kicking. I signed up to get in on Google website generator [crap-ular site] dealy a while back. I played with it but I think it is a bit too simplistic.

 Vacation!

March 1, 2006 at 1:42 pm  |  work, games, politics

Ah. Because I am a spiteful individual I need to let everyone know that I am not going to work today, nor tomorrow, nor Friday. Wooo… And, oh boy, oh boy, do I have big plans! I am going to eat some breakfast, perhaps eggs, then play so Chibi-Robo (damn you Tao!), followed by getting my ass dressed to play so hockey out in the cold, cold air. After that… ah… shit I got nothing! Wooooo!

Also, our president appears to live in a fantasy world. “Despite polls, Bush says he has ‘Capital’” Yeah, just like Enron… or is he talking about Washington, D.C.? I’m confused. Well this could just be another example of the King ignoring intellegence sources.

P.S. Woooooh!

 Long time no post

I guess the holy day week end went well. Heidi and I went northwest to almost Canada to see my aunt, cousin, his wife, their kid, my parents, brother, his fiance, my grandparents and my uncle who is not married to my aunt… they are siblings. We did the turkey eating thing and pretty much hung out.

We were back home by Friday night but missed the DDRing and such proclaimed by this guy. I hate driving or sitting in a car for any lengthy amount of time. I was tired. It is too bad though perhaps my sunny personality would have made the night more enjoyable. Ha. Ha. The rest of the weekend basically consisted of me reading book 11 with Harold and Kumar, some eating and some running thrown in.

Last night was hockey night. We got thromped to the toon of 5-0 (actually I did score a goal but the stupid ass ref whistled it dead… after it was in the net). After the game several of us went out for some beers. I returned with some smelly clothes and a severe case of the hiccups. I was up quite late waiting for them to go away. Currently I am tired, drink a coffee and eating a bagel. You?
