 For those counting calories

January 12, 2007 at 9:30 am  |  food/drink

Since I have never had to worry about my weight I never gained a real appreciation of how many calories are in what food.  I always heart that fast food is bad, but how does that compare to, say, a bowl of ketchup?  Well, if you are interested check out this site.  It show what 200 calories of different food looks like.  I think that the list is a little short (where’s the beer? and what’s with only using Jack-in-the-box fast food?) and it would be nice to compare specific items side-by-side, but it is something.
I found this site via Information Aesthetics.

  4. You have to either have money to get a high school named after you or fall on a grenade. In this instance it was money, sadly of which we have none.
Can’t even come up with a comment that does that video justice.

Let us know when your going to London. We have decided not to cruise in Alaska. We can take day trips from Seward and Whittier to see the glaciers. I’m looking for something cool to do that doesn’t break the bank. I would like to see big bears, lots of them.

  5. We are going to London in about one month (only one more month of this hell hole!). We leave on the 17th.
