You (and now That Guy as well) need to remember to put the word “not” into your sentences .. what are you, subconsciously optimistic?

Yes, I know of this issue with only seeing what you expect or want to see, but Bush is so concerned with his ‘image’ and how he is perceived (remember ‘Mission Accomplished’?) that when he appears to be floundering I know we’re fucked.

Here`s a good poll .. if you met the president and could either say one thing to him or just punch him in the face and get away with it, which would you do? What would you say or what kind of punch would you use? I can`t decide, and I think about this every time I read the news.

For example, if you think someone is beautiful, you will always see them as beautiful even if they aren’t looking so great. If you are trying to lose weight because you think you are fat, you will see yourself as fat even if you have lost enough weight.

Well, let’s just say I think Bush could singlehandedly save the last dying Blue Whale and I’d still think there was some ulterior motive or ill intentions. Maybe the plankton have strong lobbyists.

This issues is real for a lot of people like me now. It is presenting real problems for me in judging the presidents actions.

I only know a few things for sure:
1) We were lied to about Iraq.
2) Unconditional support for Isreal is not right.
3) Bush is applying the ideas and rules of his religeon to people not in his religeon. i.e. me.
4) He will avoid the North Korean, Iran, and Middle East issues to fester until the next president because the issues are just too hard for him to cope with.
