The IOL is not actually paying for the hotel and it is not the Princeville. I was actually sitting next to the pool today and a hotel security person told me that I needed to get an green wrist band to sit by the pool because they were having non-guests use the facilities. Apparently, I look like a non-guest. I looked around at all the other guests, noting that none of them had green wrist bands, I said fine, and went back to reading. If you do not think I am a guest ask me my room number and my name and check! If you phrase it right I would not even know you suspected me as a moocher. Dick. ]]> By: Min http://zipymonkey.com/blog/2005/11/06/what-you-i-do/#comment-218 Min Mon, 07 Nov 2005 02:08:00 +0000 http://zipymonkey.com/blog/2005/11/06/what-you-i-do/#comment-218 And I recommend when you are not thinking of work related things to gain perspective on life by doing/going to the following things/places: Hike the Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali Coastline (just don’t be tempted to join the "Lost Tribe"), Go spelunking in Maniniholo Dry Cave or Waikanaloa & Waikapalae Wet Caves, Avoid eating poi, National Tropical Botanical Garden (lots to see even without going in), Spouting Horn, Avoid the wild chickens that have taken over the island, Wailua Falls, Opaekaa Falls, Stare at the awesomeness of the Sleeping Giant (squint and use your imagination a little and you’ll see him), Visit the Kauai Coffee Visitor Center (unlimited free coffee samples), and Walk along a black-sand beach (who’s name is escaping me right now). From my understanding you most likely hiked up to or past Kalalau Lookout (up the road from the canyon). Most of all enjoy yourself!
